Back by popular demand, The University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work together with the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts hosts Storytelling for Social Justice, a Catalyst Series for Social Justice event.
This year, our storytelling performance will focus on stories of challenging systems in order to create wellness for ourselves or others. We define wellness to include physical, mental, communal, or spiritual wellbeing, as well as equitable systems that promote our wellbeing. Ten people, selected from the storytelling cohort, will share their stories of challenging a system to create wellness, live without any notes. Storytellers are selected from the 2019 Storytelling for Social Justice Cohort and trained by former instructors for The Moth's Education Program.
